Woolworths NetSetGO is Australia’s official starter program for girls and boys aged 5 to 10. It’s a chance to learn the netball basics while having fun. For a lot of kids, this is the first time they’ll pick up a netball. It’s a learning experience, and a lot of fun.

NetSetGO is divided into three tiers; Net, Set and GO, meaning that your child will learn at a pace that’s right for their age and ability. Each week your child will take part in skill-based activities, minor games, and modified match play that will help them develop fundamental movement skills, as well as important social skills. Each session will be led by a trained coach, using modified equipment.

The Rise program will focus on the Set and Go tiers, and is suitable for kids who aged 7+ (or who have completed at least one year of school). Our program will concentrate on refining fundamental motor skills and introduce modified netball matches

Our NetSetGO coaches will assess the group and tailor the program to the abilities of the children attending. If the group are ready we will also work towards developing netball specific skills through modified match play

The Parkville Netball Association also runs weekly competition games for children at the SET and GO levels. Our program aims to prepare players for these competitions and will create a team at the appropriate level if numbers allow.

The full RISE NetSetGO program will generally run in Terms 2 and 4 each year.

All details will be confirmed closer to our start date but as a guide

We will also usually run a (free) Come and Try NetSetGO session so you and your child can try Netball before committing to the full program.

All enquiries for players aged 7+ years please contact our NetSetGO Coordinator, by emailing or complete an expression of interest
